Elizabeth's Goal: Build Strength and Balance for Running "I wasn’t used to any training before going to Brandon. The only regimented and scheduled exercise I had ever done was walking consistently, taking a cycling class for a few years, and following a training plan for some running. My challenge was not believing that I could do strength training and definitely the challenge of not knowing how to go about it. Adding strength training was intimidating at first but the guidance provided each step has helped me believe that I can be strong and can do hard things, pushing past uncomfortable feelings. Three years into training I am in the best shape of my life, I feel great, and have the motivation to keep up my hard work consistently throughout the year.
